It's the season for pre-Detroit Motor Show announcements - and today Kia issued this further teaser image of its new low-slung sports car: the 2014 Kia GT4 Stinger concept car. With overtones of the Audi R8 supercar about its visage, the GT4 Stinger is a rear-wheel drive coupe driven by a punchy 315hp turbocharged engine. Kia is a major player in the US, and this GT4 concept car is designed to worm its way into the affections of American enthusiasts.
Nissan is recalling 13,919 copies of the Altima sedan from the 2012-2013 model years to fix improperly installed bolts on steering and suspension components. The recall covers Altimas built May 10 through July 26. According to a National Highway Transportation Safety Administration report, power steering-rack bolts and transverse link bolts on the Altima may not have been torqued to proper specification.

The Suzuki Celerio has been launched at the Auto expo in New Delhi this week as a new A-Segment offering from Suzuki, but the Celerio isn’t just for emerging markets and will arrive in Eur-spec at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show next month. The Celerio offers more space than bothy the Alto and Splash – Suzuki’s current offerings in the A-Segment – and is expected to cost much the same as the Alto when it arrives in the UK in early 2015. Which means the new Celerio is probably the replacement for both the Splash and Alto, and Suzuki are trumpeting it a ‘pocket-friendly’ car.
